About

Translational cancer research is a multidisciplinary field dedicated to bridging the gap between fundamental laboratory discoveries concerning cancer biology and their application in clinical practice for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. It investigates the translation of basic scientific insights into new clinical interventions, and conversely, the use of clinical observations to inform and refine basic research questions, thereby accelerating the development of improved therapeutic strategies and ultimately enhancing patient outcomes.
